Hunter with Nomad lean: A study /research project on how to find out what to eat when things are not fitting D'Adamo's plans well enough
According to my measurements, my physical and digestive abilities when more well, I am a Hunter. I do have two teeth on each side that have that extra cusp, though. I also have fully Nomad fingerprints, a penchant for yeast overgrowth and a few oddities that occur wherein (at least) some Hunter genotype Superfoods only act as Superfoods part time and then they act as Nomad *Avoid foods. I am using * to represent the black dot.
Due to this, I am endeavoring to make a list of all the foods listed in the current books I have of D'Adamo's that correspond to a specific category of Superfood, Neutral, *Avoid or Avoid, based on information from Typebase V. Actually, when I say a list, it will be several lists, as I will separate the foods out as to if they are shared by Hunter and Nomad in the same category or if they are preferenced to a higher degree by one of the genotypes.
My purpose in this is to see to what degree Nomad influences impact Hunter preferences. It is my belief I will end up primarily with a list of Superfoods and Neutrals, that are shared by both or which one genotype has as Superfood while the other has Neutral, as the base for my grocery buying needs. Yet, I might end up with also a very nice list of *Avoids that can only be eaten once or twice within a certain time frame (probably a week), some, all or most of which may act as Superfoods during that narrow window, like chicken does.
I believe the main reason I need to do this, have this "almost Hunter, pretty Nomad", generally hard to categorize issue is that my family history is pretty mixed race but there is a big divide in a way. I show up as being primarily Irish and Northern European, by biggest percentage, but since that biggest percentage is 49% of the total, that means that I am actually primarily, by 2% a whole lot of other things, newer and earlier arrived into the ancestral mix. Many of those are Asian, such as Northern and Southern Chinese, Gujarati, Punjabit, some Mediterranean that is not from Greece or Italy but moved in from somewhere else, a bit of Romani and a whopping 5% caucasian.
That's right, boys and girls: Caucasian is listed separate from Northern European and Irish, when researching DNA, so think about that a while.
I tend to do best with an Asian'esque or even somewhat Middle Eastern diet, but generally low in fat and higher in grains and vegetables. That's not extremely Hunter like, but some of that is probably the Nomad influence, which makes sense because, literally, many of my ancestors were of nomadic cultures or somewhat farmer, or hunter/gatherer cultures that happened to travel quite a bit on land or on water. While there is also simply the things that happened in my life that affect my health, which may over time improve to a point where I need to, and can, regularly eat more Hunter-like.
I look forward to making this journey with mind and body, D'Adamo beside me as a guide and Jehovah God as my protector, and finding out what is good for me along the way.
